CREATIVE COLLABORATIONS
APPLE
CREATING THE FUTURE
I quickly picked up many new in-house softwares for Modeling 3D and 2D environments; performing analytical, methodical and QA related tasks to identify and record problems and convey them to team members efficiently; worked with large datasets and prioritized competing demands.
STARBUCKS
ANOTHER UNKNOWN
Another of the clients we worked with at Sales Away, where I was one of three graphic designers.
CARNIVAL CRUISES & OTHER CRUISELINES
APPAREL READY DEASIGNS
Our main clients at Sales Away were Carnival Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity X Cruises, and Princess Cruises. These clients needed souvenir paraphernalia for each of the major cruise lines' destinations and ship with a little something for everyone.
EPIC PUBLISHING
A PERFECT MATCH
One of my very favorite clients that I have had the privilege of working for. I created the logo for the company and all of the visuals for The Watcher Series of six novels by Robin Woods, including a totally custom visual vocabulary from the ground up that the client and I both really loved.
SAN DIEGO ZOO
A SUCCESSFUL CAMPAIGN
One of the most prestigious zoos and wildlife foundations in the world, this client was looking for an energetic vibe and style that would represent their new clothing line in an appealing way. The designs we delivered were instantly eyecatching, highly marketable and even iconic, and I would see them being worn for years to come.
SAN JOSE STATE UNIVERSITY
EXTRACURRICULAR
As a student at SJSU, I got to work on a few extracurricular projects for different departments during my time there. During my senior year I was commissioned by the drama department to create an assortment of marketing collateral for an immersive theatrical production and live adaptation of The Circle.
I also led a team to create a video game, which the head of the Game Development club requested to add to the club’s traveling arcade machines that regularly made appearances at statewide art shows and festivals such as Maker Fair. Though it was only my introduction to designing videogames, Scavenger came out pretty cute with a lot of atmosphere and character.
IMOBILE FUSION
STARTING UP A STARTUP
I provided creative direction for a startup that specialized in supplying mobile-friendly websites to companies with older sites that didn't have that capability (iMobileFusion).
DIVE ENTERTAINMENT
FROM VISION TO REALITY
I had the pleasure of being a founding member of a company specializing in nightlife entertainment, and designed their corporate identity from the ground up. As part of my role, I produced a number of logos, posters, and weekly flyers, while some of my broader roles within the team included event planning as well as creating and managing our social media presence.
DISNEY
YOU'VE PROBABLY NEVER HEARD OF THEM
One of the clients we produced print media for at Sales Away, where I was one of three graphic designers.
MONSTER ENERGY
ENERGIZING DESIGN
Another of our valued clients at Sales Away.
PENGUIN RANDOM HOUSE PUBLISHING
INTERNATIONAL COVER
I've licensed my images to this client after they found my photography online and asked to use it for the cover of a novel.
YOSEMITE STATE PARK
GOD'S GREEN EARTH
This world famous national park, as well as Yellow Stone and others, came to us wanting clean, stately designs that reflected the majesty and natural beauty of their respective locale. At the same time, they needed versatile variation to be marketable to differing demographics. We were up to the task and created just the concepts they were looking for.
THE TECH MUSEUM OF INNOVATION
THE PERFECT START
I was lucky enough to start out at The Tech Museum when I was just just fifteen, working behind the scenes as an intern, which turned into my first paid work. I helped create their virtual online presence on Second Life; organizing, moderating, and leading the online community; designing graphics, public spaces and exhibit concepts; building the top floor of the museum to scale in virtual space using blueprints and photo textures that I created to aid in its remodel; as well as representing the Tech Museum at conventions.
ZERO1 | THE ART & TECHNOLOGY NETWORK
CAPTURING EVENTS
I usually stay away from event photography when I can, but this client knew I could add a unique flavor to their documentation. I photographed exhibitions, festivals, and talks at the ZERO1 facilities, and retouched and posted photos to the website.
W DENTISTRY
THE RIGHT COLLABORATION
This client came to me looking for a friendly, inviting corporate style with an eye-catching edge to it. I worked on many projects for them over the years, in keeping with their brand. From creating package design, brochures and other promotional material, to assisting with their website which also featured my photography and design oversight (W Dentistry), to producing a series of eight different 6' x 6' banner ads to display outside their building, I consistently provided just the concepts they were looking for.
